Sorry for the flurry of photos there…

Some of them seem to have gone missing in the uploading process as well. The internet connections here in Syria are really slow. I’ll be uploading some cool photos in a bit, once I find a faster connection. In a few hours, I’m going to Beirut by bus. I’m excited — if it’s anywhere near as cool as all the Lebanese people in the UAE say it is, it should be a good time. So far Damascus has been fun, but not as awesome as I expected. It doesn’t its flex big, ancient empire-city muscles like Cairo or Rome do, which is more what I was expecting. Still beautiful though. Will be passing back through in a week or so on my way to Jordan, so I may yet fall in love with it.
